Current Condition and Prospects of the Purbachal New Town Project

Site Progress

Construction on the sites for sectors 1–5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 20, 22, and 29–30 is nearly finished. The development of the site is ongoing in various industries. The site development process has begun on the Gazipur portion, and it is currently at 65%.

Road construction

The majority of the road construction projects in sectors 1, 3, 5, 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 17, 20, 29, and 30 have been finished. In sectors 2, 7, 10, 18, and 19, road construction is now taking place. Additionally, road building won't start until other sectors of growth have made significant progress.

Bridge Construction

Bridge No. 3 has been built in the Narayanganj sector of Purbachal, and construction on Bridge No. 25 is currently proceeding with 70% of the work completed. Tenders are being processed for the remaining bridges.

Development of a Canal

On both sides of the road, 100-foot canals are being built at the same time.

Service Providers

Electric poles have already been built in sectors 1, 3, 4, 11, 13, 14, 17, 23, and 30. Utility services like power, gas, water supply, telephone, and sewerage are set up as necessary. Electric Sub-Station installation at Sector #4 is already complete.
